In light of the current situation with Coronavirus, the management have put the following plan in action in the safety of our membership.
1.All clubhouse events after the AGM are to be cancelled until the rally. Refunds will be issued for Mother's Day Lunch and Fitting Out Supper. This includes sunday lunches and quiz.
2.The 50th Anniversay celebrations are being rescheduled to the weekend of the rally.
3. The clubhouse will open as normal, we have hand sanitisers by the front door and in the corridor and would ask members to please use these everytime you enter the club.
4. If any member is self isolating on their boat they must follow the following proceedure.
Inform a member of the management committee immediately. My number is 07899900121 for reference.
Do not enter the club for the isolation periodDo not use club toilets/showers/sanitary station for the isolation period.
Graham Mundy has very kindly offered to assist if any members who are self isolating require supplies, food etc. I'm sure other members would also step up to support Graham with this if required.
5. Any members coming back from overseas should not enter the clubhouse or use club facilities for 7 days.
These decisions have not been taken lightly but we believe the wellbeing of our members is paramount. They are the most valuable thing we have.
We believe we are doing the right thing by taking these steps and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
